Heat Recovery

There is always the question of what to do with the thermal energy generated after thermal recycling. A partner of AHC has developed special heat exchangers for this purpose. These are characterised by higher efficiency due to special piping. AHC is the exclusive supplier of this heat exchanger.

What is Heat Recovery?

This is a generic term for the rehabilitation of the thermal energy of a mass flow leaving a process. The fundamental objective of heat recovery is the reduction of primary energy consumption. Ecological requirements are also in the foreground next to energy management needs. Particularly with regard to the Kyoto Protocol for the protection of the climate, enormous overall amounts of greenhouse gas and CO2 emissions are avoided. Heat recovery is not required in any single case for the actual functioning of manufacturing processes. Heat recovery is thus not part of the actual manufacturing process itself. It has only the task of sustainably maintaining and renewing the energy potential of energy flows that are ultimately discharged by the manufacturing processes into the environment. Thus heat recovery has the property of renewable energy.

Advantages of effective heat recovery

  • Reduction in the connected load [kW] for heating and cooling energy
  • Reduction in the energy consumption [kWh] for heating and cooling
  • Reduction or elimination of boilers, chillers, and so on
  • Reduction in investment and operating costs
  • Reduction in pollutant emissions

You can improve your mode of operation and ensure production by effective heat recovery.

We use any heat source before it has an impact on the environment.
